As an industry senior executive with more than 20 years experience in companies such as IBM, General Electric and United Healthcare Group, and now as a leadership consultant, Bobbie has helped hundreds of industry professionals build leadership skills and discover the “best next step” in their careers.

She draws on her extensive corporate leadership experience and her experience training for and competing in Ironman triathlon events to help her clients reach success and “cross the finish line”.

Ms. LaPorte comes to the leadership coaching arena after a successful corporate career in GM, COO and CEO roles helping Fortune 100 companies build market share, revenue and profit growth. Her real passion is helping people find their place in the workplace, and she is recognized for her organizational development, team building and leadership achievements. She has a BA from the University of Massachusetts, and has completed advanced study programs at Harvard University and the University of Michigan Schools of Business. She is also a graduate of Coach University and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association (PCMA) and the Career Masters Institute (CMI).
Bobbie is a frequent speaker and author on the subjects of career planning and management, as well as the powerful relationship between physical fitness and career success. She is an accomplished triathlete, and serves on the USA Triathlon (USAT) Commission and as a volunteer Coach and Mentor for a number of national triathlon training programs. She is currently training for her fourth Ironman triathlon event.
